Holding a DMD from Tel-Aviv University and an Executive MBA in healthcare innovation from Reichman University, Dr. Abba is a trailblazer in remote surgical assistance and healthcare innovation. His work extends to offering vital surgical care in underserved regions, particularly in Africa. As an attending surgeon at the Hadassah University Medical Center’s Oral and Maxillofacial Department in Jerusalem, he is deeply involved in research, resident training, and has published numerous papers and co-authored a book on minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Abba is also making significant strides in medical device consultancy and healthcare entrepreneurship, leveraging his expertise to innovate in user interface design and business models within maxillofacial surgery.
