Dr. Claudio L. MiroDDS
Claudio L. Miro, a distinguished dental professional and implantologist, was born in Havana, Cuba, and educated at Sacred Heart Academy and Central East University of the Dominican Republic (D.D.S. 1987). He pursued advanced training in implant dentistry at the University of Miami and specialized in surgical and prosthetic procedures at Lindsey Hopkins. Miro holds fellowships and memberships in numerous prestigious organizations, including the American Dental Society of Anesthesiology and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. He has taught and chaired various dental programs, including Larkin Hospital’s Dental Implant department, and serves on committees for the Florida Department of Health. With offices across Florida, Miro continues to excel in dental surgery and implantology, leaving a lasting impact on the field.

Dr. Dan HoltzclawDDS, MS
Dr. Dan Holtzclaw is a Diplomate of both the American Board of Periodontology and the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Long recognized as one of the world’s leaders in full-arch implantology, Dr. Holtzclaw has published over 60 articles in peer reviewed journals such as the Journal of American Dental Association, the Journal of Periodontology, Implant Dentistry, the International Journal of Periodontics and Restorative Dentistry, and Compendium. Dr. Holtzclaw served as the Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of Implant and Advanced Clinical Dentistry for 13 years in addition to serving as an editorial board member and/or editorial reviewer for six additional dental journals.
With over 150 main podium lectures provided at major dental conferences all over the world, Dr. Holtzclaw has been named a “Leader in Continuing Dental Education” by Dentistry Today Magazine for the past 14 consecutive years. Dr. Holtzclaw currently serves as the Director of Fixed Arch Solutions for Affordable Care, LLC, a DSO with over 360 clinics in 41 states. Dr. Holtzclaw is a proud 13 year veteran of the United States Navy who finished his naval career as the periodontist for the US Navy Blue Angels Flight Demonstration Team. -
Dr. David BulotDDS, MD
Dr. Bulot is a native of Louisiana. He attended Nicholls State University for his undergraduate studies. He received both his Doctorate of Dental Surgery and his Doctorate of Medicine degrees from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, Louisiana.Dr. Bulot has been trained in the full scope of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. This includes sedation and general anesthesia, facial and cosmetic surgery, oral and facial pathology, temporomandibular joint (TMJ), arthroscopic and reconstructive surgery, removal of wisdom teeth, and dentoalveolar surgery. He has a special interest in CT-guided dental implant surgery, full-mouth dental implant rehabilitation, and orthognathic/sleep apnea surgery.
He earned his Board Certification in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 2013. He has a special interest in teaching the LSU dental students a comprehensive approach to the dental patient and regularly teaches at LSU Dental School. He also sponsors and leads annual continuing education courses in Baton Rouge with a special interest in comprehensive implant dentistry as well as the “Oral Surgeon Advantage” for wisdom tooth extraction.
Dr. Bulot strives to stay on the cutting edge in all aspects of Oral Surgery and attends countless hours of Continued Education so he can bring the absolute best treatment to his patients. He also brings this knowledge back to Baton Rouge so he can teach his referring Dentists the latest techniques and technology at his local seminars.
Dr Bulot’s dedication to excellence in all facets of Oral Surgery and Implant Dentistry has received nationwide attention and he takes pride in having patients in his practice that travel from as far as Alaska and Southern Florida for his continued treatment.

Overview:
This comprehensive two-day hands-on model and cadaver workshop is designed for advanced dental professionals seeking an in-depth understanding of remote anchorage techniques in full arch rehabilitation using PATZI protocol, with Zygomatic, Pterygoid, Transnasal, and Tuff Implants. The program covers a spectrum of topics ranging from surgery and treatment planning to restorative concepts, providing participants with a holistic perspective on achieving successful outcomes in complex cases. The workshop also includes digital workflow components, including photogrammetry, a review of pre-op and post-op scans, and intraoral scanning.
Course Objectives:
- Discuss the indications and remote anchorage alternatives to traditional All-on-X (AOX) protocols, demonstrating a comprehensive understanding of treatment modalities for most patients.
- Explain the unique configurations of AOX for atrophic maxillary cases, demonstrating an ability to articulate key considerations in treatment planning and implant placement.
- Apply knowledge of anatomy associated with conventional AOX and remote anchorage AOX in surgical and pre-surgical planning
- Break down the indications and contraindications of conventional AOX and remote anchorage AOX, critically evaluating scenarios for appropriate treatment choices.
- Create effective surgical techniques for remote anchorage AOX, integrating multiple protocols commonly used to place and restore implants free-handed.
- Judge the quality of remote anchorage AOX outcomes by incorporating prosthodontic considerations into the treatment process, demonstrating the ability to assess and ensure optimal results.
- Participate in a hands-on model workshop, translating theoretical knowledge into practical skills for the placement of both 3D models, showcasing the application of learned concepts, including the practice of placing Zygomatic, Pterygoid, Transnasal, and Tuff Implants through cephalus cadaver implant placement and dissection.
– Understand the principles of digital workflow in remote anchorage AOX, including:
– Photogrammetry and its applications in treatment planning
– Review of pre-op and post-op scans for accurate implant placement
