Utilizing the PATZi Protocol:
Zygomatic, Pterygoid & Trans Nasal Implants
For the past few decades, treatment planning for patients with severely resorbed edentulous maxilla seeking a fixed permanent solution have been an ongoing challenge for clinicians. Consequently, when planning implant-supported prosthetists, clinicians have been compensating for the lack of bone volume with bone grafting and sinus augmentation procedures.
Although Zygomatic, Pterygoid and Transnasal implants have been in use for over 30 years with great success rates, they are widely considered to be one of the most difficult fixtures to place in all implant dentistry. Noris Medical has develoeped the Zygomatic Implant System that is especially designed for implantation utilizing an Extramaxillary approach. The Extramaxillary approach enables the positioning of the prosthetic connection on the Alveolar Ridge, dramatically increasing patient satisfaction, restoring patients’ quality of life.
This course will provide knowledge and guidance for incorporating these style of treatments approaches into your full arch dental implant practice.
This course is designed for dental surgeons and experienced clinicals who are already proficient in rehabilitating the edentulous maxilla with dental implants and want to extend their expertise to zygomatic, pterygoid and transnasal implants.
