Severe maxillary atrophy rehabilitation using Zygomatic implants

Advanced One-Day Cadaver and 3D Hands-On Models Workshop

Theory, Planning & Procedure

Overview:

The comprehensive one-day hands-on workshop is exclusively dedicated to zygomatic implants, focusing on advanced techniques in full arch rehabilitation using the All-on-X approach with Zygomatic Implants. This specialized program delves into surgery and treatment planning, offering dental professionals an in-depth understanding of restorative concepts. Participants will gain a holistic perspective on achieving successful outcomes in complex cases with a specific emphasis on the utilization of Zygomatic Implants.

  • Discuss the indications and alternatives to traditional All-on-X (AOX) protocols, with a specific focus on Zygomatic implants, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of treatment modalities for most patients.
  • Explain the unique configurations of AOX, emphasizing the use of Zygomatic implants in the premaxilla. Demonstrate an ability to articulate key considerations in treatment planning and implant placement.
  • Apply knowledge of anatomy associated with conventional and nonconventional AOX, with a particular emphasis on Zygomatic implants, in surgical and pre-surgical planning.
  • Break down the indications and contraindications of conventional and nonconventional AOX, critically evaluating scenarios for appropriate treatment choices, including the incorporation of Zygomatic implants.
  • Create effective surgical techniques for AOX, integrating multiple protocols commonly used to place and restore implants free-handed, with a special focus on Zygomatic implants.
  • Judge the quality of AOX outcomes, incorporating prosthodontic considerations into the treatment process, and demonstrating the ability to assess and ensure optimal results, especially when utilizing Zygomatic implants.
  • Participate in a hands-on model workshop, translating theoretical knowledge into practical skills for the placement of both 3D models, showcasing the application of learned concepts, including the practice of placing Zygomatic implants through cephalus cadaver dissection.”
