Prof. Ziv Mazor is one of Israel’s leading periodontists. He graduated from the periodontal department at the Hadassah School for Dental Medicine in Jerusalem, where he served as a clinical instructor and lecturer for undergraduate and postgraduate dental students.
Since 1993, Prof. Mazor has been engaged in clinical research in the field of Bone Augmentation and Sinus Floor Elevation. He is currently participating in the quest for improving and evaluating new grafting materials, using various growth factors as well as researching “osseodensification”- a paradigm shift in dental implantology.
Prof. Mazor is a renowned author in dental implantology, and is known worldwide for his innovative approaches in cutting-edge procedures and technologies. He is a world known speaker and has lectured extensively both nationally and internationally. This year was his 25th consecutive year speaking at the AAP.
Prof. Mazor is part of the continuing education faculty at the New York University and an Associate Professor at Titu Maiorescu University in Bucharest, Romania. He conducts and moderates advanced international implantology courses and workshops. He is the past President of the Israeli Periodontal Society.
Prof. Mazor maintains a private practice limited to periodontal and implant dentistry in Tel Aviv &Ra’anana, Israel.
Prof Dr Johnson Raja James graduated with laurels in Dentistry & Periodontics from Dr MGR Medical University , India and .Currently, he is Senator & Member of Faculty of the same University and also serves as Professor & Associate Dean at Rajas Dental College. He is an active member of IADR, ISDR , ISP , ITI & IDA. An internationally certified mentor for the Extra maxillary approach in Zygomatic implants , he has trained more than 200 dental surgeons in this procedure.
Dr James’s area of interests include Lasers , Advanced Implantology & Piezosurgery , Clinical research on Peri Implant Regeneration with Autologous Growth factors and Bone substitutes, especially in Full mouth Rehabilitations. He maintains an exclusive Implant practice at Implantree International Dental Hospitals in Chennai , India . He was awarded the Young Achiever Award ( Implantology )in World Dental Congress 2018, London and the Asian Dental Excellence Award by the Honourable Governor of Tamilnadu Shri Banwarilal Purohit.
Reza qualified in 1995 and has 3 years of postgraduate education in Oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Eastman Dental Institute. He was awarded a prestigious masters degree from University College, London in 2001. He has 4 years of hospital experience in oral and maxillofacial surgery and orthodontics in London (UCH), Liverpool (Aintree hospitals) and Cheltenham & Gloucester hospitals. Reza has extensive experience in facial trauma and injuries, and management of oral cancer. He is a member of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (MFDS RCS), the Association of Dental Implantology (ADI), The Association of Osteointegration (ITI) and the International Academy of Facial Aesthetics. Reza is the principal of Angel Dental Implant Centre, London and his field of interest is the rehabilitation of complex implant cases.
